We know that Sony owes its PlayStation Network users big time for their servers being hacked and leaking users’ personal information and credit card information. PSN servers have been done since April 20th but are expected to return by the end of this week. Sony America users will getting, at least, complementary identify theft protection for a year but the question is, what will European uses be getting?
Nick Caplin, Head of Communications at Sony Europe posted on the official Playstation. He writes “We will be offering PSN users the opportunity to select two PS3 games from a list of five, as well as offering PSP users the opportunity to choose two games from a list of four.” Which the titles have yet to be announced, “We will let you know exactly what games are available very soon.” writes Caplin.
Thats quiet a generous offer. Good to see that PSN users will be getting something worthwhile. Depending on the games being offered that is.
