One thing that most Nintendo 3DS users have been excited for is the upcoming system update which will include the eShop and Internet Browser. The eShop is suppose to be a place where users could purchase downloadable content for their 3DS console. The estimated release time given earlier this year was “late May”. However, today Nintendo announced that the update will be released in Japan on June 7th and June 6th in North America.
Those of us who were excited for the next week or two in anticipation for this update have to wait a bit longer. On the bright side, we now have a confirmed release date.
