Monster Hunter 4 Arrives in Japan in Spring 2013

Capcom’s recent Summer Jam event featured some details on Monster Hunter 4. The 3DS exclusive game was revealed to have a release window of Spring 2013 in Japan. The game is said to feature both brand new monsters and some old ones from the series. This release window acts as no confirmation or estimate of a North American and European release, but we wait patiently to see what Capcom has to say for other regions. Nintendo Download Thursday: June 28

A new week of Nintendo Download is here, the last for the month of June. This week seems focused more on the 3DS with each region getting a mix of 3DS titles and DSi titles and sales on previous 3DS titles. Also worth mentioning, a demo of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance was published on the eShop after Nintendo Direct last week, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s your reminder. Nintendo Reveals Bigger Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo will be releasing a bigger Nintendo 3DS later this year; the 3DS XL. The total viewing area of the top and bottom screens have been increased by over 90%. It will also come with a 4GB SD Card as opposed to the regular 3DS’ 2GB. The 3DS XL also has a slight boost in battery life over the 3DS. The 3DS XL weighs in at 336g, making it the heaviest handheld Nintendo’s made since the Game Boy.  Read More!

Nintendo of America Holding Nintendo Direct Broadcast Tonight

Nintendo of America will be broadcasting another round of Nintendo Direct late tonight (June 21 2012). The session will focus on games for the DS, 3DS and Wii. The presentation will start tonight at 9PM Pacific Time/12AM Eastern Time. Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of Japan also have their own broadcasts plan tomorrow. Japan’s will focus on the 3DS and Wii, and will begin at noon Japan time. While Europe’s will be mostly focusing on the 3DS and will start 5AM UK Time/6 AM Central Europe time.
